Do a system restore in safe mode. If that doesn't work, I highly recommend Virus Protection ASAP. Run it in safe mode and see how that works.

There could be a hidden virus, like trojan, that planted itself into your computer. You might have to have a professional look at it, try taking it into a shop where they sell computers or if you know someone who knows stuff about computers, have them look at it. That happened to me once and my dad's friend knows everything about computers so he was able to completely clean out my drives and get rid of the hidden stuff. Good luck, this can be really annoying to deal with

then you were unable to send this question from your computer. guess you use someone else's computer. you probably need a good cleaner software like most everybody must use regularly. check the web and get the ratings and get the best. a top-rated registry cleaner is worth the money, for sure. it will knock that junk outta there.

UH OH! Spyware is a horrible virus, and is capable of infecting your computer and some of those around you!
Try to find out whitch program/file is infected using a norton sucurity scan. Then make sure you delete that item immediatly!
Don't worry, it is fixable (most likely) and you have to make sure that you keep on trying to fix (or destroy ;p) your computer! But theres no need to panic, if needed call somebody that may be able to help.
Worst casonario, you must reformat your computer, deleting all files and starting from scratch!

Just use system restore and have it revert back to before the infection. If you've generated anything since then that you don't want to lose, back it up on CD first.
Way less hassle, guaranteed to work every time.

This is probably a frustrating virus called "malware protector 2008". You can erase it with no future problem though. This is a fake spyware detector that has bugs crawling across your screen as a screen saver and a deep blue background with the warning you state. I don't think I have to say this, but don't buy the product they give you to cure the problem they caused. You can find the way to get rid of it here[I used the manual erase method] http://www.spyware-techie.com/malware-protector-2008-removal-guide/ . I just got rid of it but I had to follow the instructions carefully. You can help prevent future viruses by using the latest firefox 3 browser that just came out(very good browsing security!)

haha funny story same thing happened to me i was on google watching naruto videos(just because im 15 doesent mean narutos not cool) then suddenly it said warning spyware detected and a bunch of pornography came.so i scanned my computer ans it said no threat detected(thats when i realized norton 360 was crap) because it kept on saying my computer was infected and everything changed my backround turned red and noises kept playing on my speakers my uncle who workes with computers said i had a worm type of virus i kept scanning my computer and deleting the infections but my uncle said the whenever you delete an infection it doesn't fix it it just patches it up for a while so the only thing i could do is give it to my uncle so he can wipe the whole system of the memory and then start all over with my data you shold do that to.

Wilson, your pc appears to be hijacked by a malware. You don't have to go to pornsites to get hijacked- downloading photo software that came with your digital camera can come with spyware. And even macs and ipods get spyware- don't feel too left out. First, don't panic. This is fixable, though it might take a little of patience to solve the issue. Here are some suggestions: boot at safe mode: http://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsafe.htm and do a complete virus scan, and a spyware scan as well. Download spybot-for detecting spyware- if you don't have it here: http://www.safer-networking.org/en/ I am sure after doing a virus and spyware scan should somewhat help if not remove the culprit. If all fails, you can also do a system restore http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/helpandsupport/learnmore/systemrestore.mspx
Last but not least, if all fails, do a system recovery by using the CD tha came with your system. Here is a suggestion; use Kaspersky Antivirus for your PC and Spyware Doctor for spyware protection http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/ . Good luck!

Could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This problem can be solved by uninstalling new softwares, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes . From http://fixit.in/bluescreenofdeath.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info
