Help about Kaspersky antivirus 2009.Please.help.?

I bought this antivirus,but then i dont know if i could install this if i use the computer SAFE MODE??

because every time i use the normal mode it freezes.SO can i install it with safe mode setting?

      You should choose a full system scan to find the virus. And should regularly update antivirus. or reinstall kaspersky
