Ok, I downloaded a file, and I double clicked it and selected the wrong program for it to open with!
Now whenever I try to open this program, I get that "encountered an error" pop up!
LOL guys I fixed it!
For anyone that gets this problem, just click debug on the little error pop up, then restart your computer.

Go to Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types. Then find the file type you changed and click the "Restore" button. Should work

Right click the icon of what you want to open, then go to "Properties" on the popup menu that comes up. You can select the "Open With" program on the Properties window for that file.

Just right click the file and select properties .
There you have the opens with,label.
Click on the change button , after that ,just select the application which you want to open the file with.
