Help me!
I’ve recently encountered the problem many other people have encountered - Except handler4 common - a msvcrt.dll error. I’m just 12 so I’m pretty stumped about what to do about it. I’ve read some discussions online and tried some help. Nothing worked. Please get back to me.

the solution is simple buddy!
i had the same problem with win xp.
thins is a dependency error and can be easily solved just changing the name of the file:
dwmapi.dll (located in windows\system32)
rename it to adwmapi.dll
Solved!
*it seems that this file is not necessary for winxp, but i recomend just rename it… u never know.

I get the same error when i’m trying to intall audio driver on my pc. i searched for dwmapi.dll but i couldn’t find it.
are there any other solutions ?
I also get the error “Error loading streamci” The specified procedure could not be found
I’d be please to help me

I use the “Eltima advanced serial port terminal” software and I had the same problem. Renaming the file “dwmapi.dll” I solved the problem. Thank you very much for the contribution

Thanks , nice solution.
For user is solution not work - remove DirectX 10 ,restart machines and install DrirectX.
Work in Vista and Xp.
