to uninstall it go to…

Hello ‘kristina’:
Firstly, I hope you already had an antivirus program installed on your PC before you ever went online. That’s asking for expensive PC damage !
If this program is listed in Windows Defender, then, you can block it by using it’s Software Explorer.
To do this, open Windows Defender. Click on Tools at the top right, then, "Software Explorer" and scroll down the list to see if ‘Personal Antivirus’ is there.
You may have to click on the bottom left tab, "Show for All Users".
If you see that program listed, you can then click on the bottom right box, Remove or Disable or Enable.
If this fails, open Control Panel and dbl.-click "Add/Remove Programs" (for XP), or "Programs and Features" (Vista).
Scroll down the list and see if your program is listed and click on the top right box, "Uninstall".
Sometimes this method won’t even work ! That’s frustrating !
If everything fails to uninstall this sh_tty program, then, there’s one last-ditch effort.
Go to the folder that contains, "Personal Antivirus", and rt.-click on the .exe file. If it is ‘Read only’, then, uncheck the Read Only check-box. Now, rt.-click on this same file and click, "Delete".
Sometimes, this doesn’t work either.
I bought a CD program called, "Search and Recover 4". It only works for Windows XP. It will help to delete any pesky file that seems unremovable.
That’s the best I can do for you.
Good Luck !, kristina !
