how do you delete the history in norton anti virus? this kid gave me a web site to go to and he said it had a bunch of games on it but it was really a virus page thingy and my anti virus software blocked the virus thank god however it shows up in the history on it and my dad will get reallly mad at me wen he sees it cuz it says high risk and he gets mad about these things so PLEASE HELP ME

If what you are saying is true then rather than try to tamper with Norton I suggest you go get your Dad, tell him what happened and show him that Norton blocked it.
I’m a Dad and I can tell you that I’d rather you were honest with me than that I caught you trying to hide something. I’d also rather you told me about a problem or potential problem than that I found out about it by checking computer logs.
People talk about ‘not opening email from strangers’ but if you got a link to the site from someone you know via email or IM and clicked on it expecting to find games and it was in fact a malicious website, that’s not your fault.
Now if your Dad has told you not to download things from the internet to the computer without permission and you ignored that, it’s your fault.
Either way, there’s no easy way to alter Symantec/Norton Antivirus’ history display for just this kind of reason.
