Hi,
My Laptop has been infected with Trojan Virus. And because of this I am planning to purchase an Anti-virus software. I am thinking of getting - McAfee Internet Security Suite.
Can anybody let me know is McAfee Internet Security Suite effective enough to remove the Trojan Virus from my system and also can able to prevent it from infecting again. My laptop is almost connected to Internet all the time.
Thanks for your help in advance.

McAfee Internet Security Suite uses more system resources. Slows your system startup time also. Try a trial version of Kaspersky Antivirus to see if you like it. I personally use Kaspersky Antivirus.

instead of using those download Microsoft official one live care software which give you 90 day subscription for free.

I used McAfee its very effective and always updated with new info about new virus.. btw dont buy norton! XP norton sucks!
anyway my advice is if u have any anti-virus or spyware/adware/malware remover on ur computer that has a virus
try to scan it in safemode. ;] its more effective.

Definitely. In fact, I’d even recommend getting the free AVG Virus 30 day edition, because it’s one of the best on the market and it works just as well.
I’ve deleted several with it, and with my own computer digging, I’ve found that it works just as it should.
If you want to pay, go ahead, I’ve had McAfee too and it worked great, but I think you’d appreciate the free version.

Try AVG’s FREE version of antivirus.
All antiviruses work more or less the same. their only requirement is that they shud be updated regularly.
and yes trojans dont get installed of their own, some sorta user action is required on the machine to get them installed, so having something like AVG’s updated free antivirus will be more than enuff in this case.
