Is that phony alert or warning or popups, trying to sell you one of these useless products that are listed here?:
      http://www.malwarebytes.org/roguenet.php
If your answer is "Yes" then keep on reading…

(DO NOT BUY THE PRODUCT THEY TRY TO SELL YOU! IT IS SCAM.)

A specialised removal tool is usually needed to remove the malware (Smitfraud or Vundo) that is causing your problem. Almost all "general purpose","all-in one" spyware and virus removal programs such as Adaware 2007, Norton, McAfee or Spybot S & D cannot remove Smitfraud or Vundo.

A good removal tool that specialises in removing these 2 types of infections is RogueRemover Free:
      http://www.malwarebytes.org/rogueremover.php

After running RogueRemover, to clean-up any remaining infection traces, scan for trojans,
and spyware etc and remove (free online scan, no downloaded program) with Ewido Online Scanner ( now known as AVG Anti-Spyware). This is NOT the same as AVG Anti-Virus. Press "Scan your computer now online and clean it for free!" on the left.

      Good luck.

If you have an updated antivirus, restart your computer in safe mode and run the full system scan. If antivirus isn't working the next thinig you can do is scan your computer online for free. Goto http://housecall.trendmicro.com and scan your computer for free. Good Luck !!!!

      1. Download and run firefox to protect your from future spyware attacks and pop ups which are coming in through internet explorer (Trojan downloaders, win32 ) .Then update your windows through firefox
Browser attacks aren't easy to spot because they piggyback on legitimate traffic that doesn't exhibit many obvious warning signs
      http://securitynewsfromthenet.blogspot.com/2007/05/spyware-fighter-essentials.html

      2. Run the vundo and combo fix http://securitynewsfromthenet.blogspot.com/2007/05/vundofix-and-combo-fix.html

      3. Run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
      http://securitynewsfromthenet.blogspot.com/2008/03/malwarebytes-anti-malware-105.html

      4. Run the anti spyware remove programs spybot http://securitynewsfromthenet.blogspot.com/2007/03/spybot-search-and-destroy-spyware-and.html and superantispyware http://securitynewsfromthenet.blogspot.com/2007/04/superantispyware-home-edition-free.html to get rid of the nasties

      5. Run a complete scan with free curing utility Dr.Web CureIt!

The best protection for your computer is a 3-tiered approach: anti-spyware software, anti-virus software, and a firewall(ZoneAlarm Free 7.0.462.0)

You are infected with spyware if:

      * You see too much pop-up advertisements.
      * Your browser has toolbars that you haven't installed.
      * Your homepage has changed (and you can't change it back).
      * Other settings have changed without your permission.
      * Your computer is slow.

To get rid of spyware and keep your computer clean you can use an antispyware or even more.
You can download a antispyware software. There are 10 good anti-spywares.
      here is the reviews: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-4nngDuI7eqvbd4iXbPpR9XIjP3nADsUR

You can download one and scan your system.
All are safe and can be trusted.
