HELP. this security toolbar 7.1 has installed itself onto my computer, READ ON!?

i have norton internet security and everything i do with windows defender doesn’t work
i have windows vista and evverytime i open internet explorer the toolbar is there and i keep getting messages from it saying i have 90 or so infections when i know i don’t
URGENT HELP PLEASE

how do i get rid of it for good?
plus i can’t afford any new virus scanners
