My AVG FREE found 15 infections on my computer but only 4 were removed and they were the Limewire songs i downloaded but now deleted. There is something called treeawpfree and i dont ever remember seeing that or looking at that. I am afraid to delete it from my computer because things could get worse. please tech support out there help me out, it will be much appreciated.
I have AVG Free and Spy Bot Search & Destroy,
I am left with only the treeawpfree thing, should i just delete it? or will that make matters worse?

Download Ad-Aware (free on download.com) Use that to scan your computer. It will thoroughly detect and delete spyware and the viruses from limewire. Has happened to me before. Also what you can do is to start your computer in safe mode and then scan, that way the viruses wont be able to move around and be functional.

What u need to do i think is when you bring avg up and it says that 4 were removed then you should cick on the rest of them and check them to be removed. I dont know which program that this treeawpfree is but if you explore on my computer and right click on that program file and go down to properties and click on advanced and if it says that it opens with an unkown program then you can delete it
