Help!! Why my AVG Antivirus 7.5 can't be updated?!!?

My Anti-Virus internal database is out of date.
And When I click update, the dialog box appear and say like this:
"An error has occured during the Update process. The update process can not be completed."
Can somebody help me please???

      It si out of date now, they have an updated version. Just uninstall it and download AVG 8 Free from:
      http://www.free.grisoft.com

      Hope that works out well for you =]

      could be a number of things. Grisoft's server is busy, may be you need to restart your computer. I know my AVG auto update will not work unless i manually go in and turn it on every time i use it. If the problem persist try reinstalling AVG or contacting grisoft

      You need to install the latest version of AVG(first link)
      To be honest though, people have so many problems with AVG that it's really not worth it(just look around here on Answers and you'll see what I mean). I always get lots of thumbs down when I speak out against AVG, but hey, it's the truth.
      I use Avast and I love it. Spybot S&D is a good supplement to either one. Links to both below.

      Before buying any upgrade I suggest contacting customer support about this problem. Their response time is quick.
