I have windows Vista. I can access the internet and can browse to any site i wish. I go to comcast.net/internet security to download the anti virus software, it downloads it and i press the allow and dont allow buttons. then it comes up for mcafee to start installing on my computer and it says it does not have any internet connectivity, after i just got off the internet from downloading the software.

Don't get McAfee! Use AVG or something else.

I would remove it and call mcafee and ask if they can send you a disk

sigh… another McAfee victim. You would be the 3rd I know and help in this weeks alone… you guys got together and decided it was time?
joking.
anyway, go uninstall the stupid suite. It will only cause more issues as the days go by.
i, and about 2 dozen other people i recommend, use Comodo Internet Security. It is full-featured, comes with the best firewall in the market, and its no-string FREE.

Yeah… Comcast gives you McAfee and Embarq gives me F-Secure….
They are both JUNK !!!
Do you really think they would give us a decent program for "FREE"???
Do yourself a BIG favor and dowmload a GOOD free program such as Antivir or Avast 4.8….. Either one is better than the stuff they "give" you…
GOOD LUCK !!!
