I've tried everthing, I am the administrator of my account and I tried to uninstall it the noral way, that didn't work. I went to the technical support and tried to download their uninstaller thingy, that didn't work… Im trying to install a newer version of Norton Antivirus, but it wont install if in have Symantec Antivirus… help

Go to the control panel and choose the uninstall programs option. Select the symantec program and uninstall. If this does not work, and it might not Symantec sucks, you may need to go into the registry editor and remove it that way. That is a more complicated and advanced method

i got rid of mine by going to search and deleting it from there norton has habit if hiding files on PC

if the norton removal tool didn't work u can go into the registry
start>run>regedit>hit f3 key>in the find what box type in norton deleting each entry it finds by right clicking it and choosing delete …hit f3 after each deletion
do the same thing using symantec
