When I bought my computer it already came with Vista
but…I don’t think it came with any kind of word processor….
There’s this CD thing that came with all the directions and stuff and it says “Upgrade your Windows Vista Experience” and on the CD it says “Windows anytime Upgrade”
I was wondering…if I install this thing….will my computer be the same since it’s already Vista… or will I have new stuff…like…oh idk…a word processor?…
and…if I install this…will all my old files and stuff be erased
O-O?

The CD is just to reinstall the version of windows that came with your computer. It will not install a word processor. And if you do install it ,which is unnecessary, you WILL lose everything.

There are several levels of Vista. You didn’t say which version you have. Windows Anytime Upgrade will take you to a more advanced (or more expensive, not necessarily the same thing) version of Vista.
You won’t have a word processor, but you might get additional functionality, or at least more eye-candy. Your existing files should probably be ok, but I’d back them up just to be sure.

Windows Anytime Upgrade is a feature that allows you to upgrade to higher-end versions of Windows Vista. Chances are that you have Vista Home Premium right now, and for some more money, you can upgrade to Vista Business or Ultimate, which includes some features not included in Vista Home Premium. However, it is not necessary to upgrade, and chances are that you probably won’t need the features found in Vista Business or Ultimate. Even if you do decide to upgrade, though, you still won’t get a word processor. If you need a free word processor, I would recommend OpenOffice.org or Abiword.
If you do upgrade to Vista Business or Ultimate through Vista Anytime Upgrade, your old files would still remain. However, it is strongly recommend that you back up your files first anyways, as unexpected things could happen.
