all went well when i tried to uninstall it but then when i tried to install my new kaspersky antivirus program,it told me to uninstall components of avg 8..so i did however after deleting those components, i still cant install my new program as it still demands me
to uninstall avg 8!i dont know whats wrong! pls help!

Did you delete Avg 8.0 from the Registry Editor?
Once its' uninstalled, go to start, Run, type regedit and click ok
Go to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER_/Software/Avg 8.0 folder
Right Click on Avg 8.0 and click Delete, Click on Yes to confirm.
Go to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Avg 8.0 folder
Right click on Avg 8.0 and click Delete, Click Yes to confirn
Close regedit, then restart your computer.
