I have an lcd and a dlp and I clean both with plain old Windex, spray it on a rag first and not directly on screen.

Don’t use vinigar, it’s acidic, or any other alcoholic or under the sink cleaners as they can damage the antiglare on Plasma or matte finish on LCD… I suggest you either use a warm damp chamois until you buy a specially designed LCD cleaner like Klear Screen http://www.klearscreen.com/

Use a soft rag and distilled water to clean the glass .
Also use very little water because you do not want it get between the glass and the electronics .
