How can fix corrupted registry in vista when automatic repair or restore point doesn’t help?

My friends turned off my laptop by pressing the on/off button right away. When I turned it on back, it gives me an option to choose whether to start it normally or to repair an error by automatic repair startup. Both of them failed to start the windows (vista). Then I tried pressing F8 to repair it but again it failed. I also tried to do restorepoint, safemode, last succesfull startup etc but still nothing.. I still cant load/start windows. I know that I have a corrupted registry and I want to fix it but I can niot load the windows itself and the system cant determine the problem. Please HELP!!!
