I have a dell inspiron 2200 with 2 mobile inter(R) 915GM/GMS,910ML express chipset family,with an extra connector (15 pin )at the back.Can i connect another desktop monitor and view or open 2 different website on the 2 monitors ? one monitor for example messenger chatting on one and browsing the website on the other one ? is this possible on my PC and if how will i do it ?

no u cant do that one. u can add another desktop monitor but u will view only the thing what u r watching in the first monitor. kardevi143@yahoo.co.in

I use a HP laptop at work, and use the standard intel graphics media package. This allows me to plug in a monitor and use it as a 2nd screen. Works fine with no problems.
It will also depend on the graphics card you have installed. some of them won't allow you to do it, others will.
My laptop is just standard run of the mill HP Compaq and it works fine on this one.
