i installed a program but it get connected to net it even does not come in blocking firewall window …..how can i block it from getting connected to internet…thx for reply

Use a better firewall system like ZoneAlarm ( http://www.zonealarm.com/ ). This program can see any program or script that wants to connect.

Click on the red balloon in the right bottom corner of your computer and click on firewall and then settings. There you can set exceptions, and allow OR block certain programs.

Well, depends on the firewall settings.
If you use windows firewall just go to blocked programs and add the new program by browsing to the exe file.

go into your controll pannal and click on firewall it will tell you it on or off set it to your desire and it should work if it don’t than you need to call your maker of your pc and get help with that problem there’s other programs to like firewall like windows defender check that an see too it might help you what else do you have to loose

Zone alarm’s firewall is pretty much useless, its trafic protection is HORRIBLE. I recommend downloading Webroot’s Firewall. Its free and very useful. http://www.webroot.com/
