This almost sounds like a bating question.
Kaspersky is one of the best AV's out there. It doesn't "just pop up". Someone downloaded it or it wouldn't be there. There is a trial version of it. If you didn't download it someone did. If you don't want it on your machine delete it. Exit the program then go to add/remove programs and delete it.
