I was working on a few open files when another popped open that says…activate 2009 antivirus and I didn't catch this until i hit accept…when I thought I was working in another file that I had open. Now…I am interrupted while surfing the net and working on any other files. Can some one please forward advice on how I can clear this.
When I surf the net…I get a msg from Google "has detected unregistered Antivirus 2009 copy on your computer". Google recommends to activate Antivirus 2009 to protect your PC.

Antivirus 2009 is rogue (fake) antivirus software that you do not want on your system, the message from Google is a fake why would Google encourage you to buy fake software.
One of the few programs that can remove your kind of infection is Malwarebytes - http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
The other is SmitfraudFix - http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.php

I would take the advice of Soccer Dave and would have recommended the same programs to remove it.
