I had one year free Norton anti-virus and my computer has all that Symantec junk on it. I tried running the uninstaller, but it would never finish the uninstall. It would always stop like 2 seconds from the end of the uninstall.
After getting tired of dealing with it, I deleted the install/uninstall program in my attempt to delete it all directly from the hard drive without running the uninstall. Well, it's all still on my computer, but I have no uninstaller to use to get rid of it all.
I've tried using ccleaner and this does not work.
Since Norton came with this computer, I do not know where my registration or serial number is located, so any solutions you might have that will require those numbers will also not work.
Please help me out here!
I would prefer not to have to pay for a service to have this done.
Thanks
