i am installing kaspersky antivirus 2009. I have uninstalled avg using the windows uninstall procedure while disconnected from the internet. then i also manually deleted the avg folder from the program files. now i still get the the avg8 is still existing when i proceed to install kaspersky.

download the AVG removal utility http://www.grisoft.cz/filedir/util/avg_a…
then run the removal tool and then restart your computer, and finally run the installation again
