I have uninstall and deleted every trace of Trend Micro 2008 from my computer, and it still shows up. When I try to install another antivirus program, it can't install because it says I still have trend micro 2008 on my computer. I don't know where else I could delete traces of trend micro 2008. I can't find any traces of trend micro internet security. I'm not using trend micro now and it is not active on my computer. Even on the Windows security center, it says trend micro internet security is turned off.

I tried prolly 6 different anti virus things
and only trend micro found it

I downloaded norton antivirus because the internet security that came with my computer wasn’t working properly. now i can’t get the old one to stop giving popup messages. there is no trace of it in programs uninstall

I use the free edition of Trend Micro Housecalls and it has worked fine for a long time. It still works on my wife’s computer but no longer on mine. I can’t get it to start at all and can only think that there is a bug that is blocking it. May check the firewall. It has been the best so far that I have used.
