I have Windows XP Pro and my friend has Windows Vista (I think Premium). I need a way to remote to her PC and control it (with her consent, of course). Is there a program that is both on XP and Vista that allows me to do this? I am thinking of NetMeeting or Remote Desktop, but will those work cross platform? And are they default on Vista and XP?
Also, how do I use said program? can I do an "ipconfig" and use the IP address? And these PC's are on different networks btw.
Ok, I dont know how to use Remote Desktop. How do I use it? what do I type in the Computer part? the pther PC's IP Address? What next?
