I don't know if this is possible or not, but here's my situation…
The computer in which the router (which is protected by a security encryption, i think its WEP but im not sure) is connected to is not working: it will power on for a few minutes then just shut off.
There is one laptop, that already is connected to this network, that is fully functional.
They just got a new computer, with a new wireless card and such, that I am trying to set up. Without the code, though, it wont connect to that network.
Is there any way to get a hold of that code without using that broken host computer?
(this is for a friend, I wouldve wrote down this code, but they didnt…)

Download WirelessKeyView — it is a tool to "hack" (harmlessly) the WEP code. Search it up on any search engine, you should find it somewhere.

the code should be stored in the router setup pages. if you can't find it there you can reset the router and make a new code, and make sure they write it down somewhere this time
You'd have to change each computer to that new code though.
