How can i get DVD clips into my vista version of Windows Movie Maker?

  insert dvd
  use quickplay to trim clips then save
  and then make ur clip
  and upload to u tube

  if they are not compatible, you can convert them to another file, such as divx or Windows media format, but dont do avi (doesnt work for some reason on vista)

  video tape it on the tv??? thats how i do it kinda bad quality though.

  you should first rip your dvd clips to avi or wmv format with Nidesoft dvd ripper, because windows movie maker only support those two formats. you can free download this software here and have a try:

  after your edit your file with movie maker if you want to upload it onto youtube you also need to convert it to flv format with Nidesoft video converter, you can free download this software here :
