my guild wars account was hacked earlier today. i was online playing then it suddenly booted me off and when i tried to log on it said my password was wrong. and when i try to change my password again it says i need to go to my play nc account but i dont have a play nc account. *sigh*

you may or may not need a NC aCCOUNT if you do its not that hard to make one otherwise see if guildwars has a faq on hacked accounts on the support page they give play nc account is pretty much for support its always good to have it you can talk to me on this screen name on messanger or if you get your account back drop a line to fizzdar oak leaf in GW.. ok i just checked NCsoft for you your guildwars account is a email what they did is reset your passcode which should have been sent to the email address you set up to be your account log in the hacked passcode probley there otherwise top reset your password there is a link that says reset password click on that and type in the account name and it will send you mail of the new passy

hi I too got my pass hacked. The problem is I never had a plaync account and I no longer have the serial number to sign up at plaync. Everytime I try to reset password it sends me to plaync. I check my email, the email I signed up with guild wars orginally its not there either. I really don’t feel like going through the hassle of convincing them it is my game just to get a password back. Is there any way to retrieve or even reset my password without going through plaync?

Hi Matt, I too am suffering the exact same problem, persuading NCsoft is tough work that the game belongs to you, Ive just gave up. If any of you can help me find an alternative to resetting a password then I will be gratful.
