how can i get rid of IE7 and use mozilla FireFox?

May 13th, 2008 · 4 Comments

The reason why I want to get rid of IE7 is because my web pages will close out suddenly for no reason. I have run all of spy ware, ad ware, and virus programs and it is still doing it. I have deleted all cookies, files and folders thinking that may have been the problem, but after doing so, I was still experiencing problems. I even did a disk clean up and defrag and it is STILL doing it. I recently read where I can use Mozilla firefox as my default search engine so I was wondering how I can do. Do I have to uninstal IE7 and install firefox or just install firefox? Thanks in advance for everyone help!!

Uninstall IE7 through the add/remove files from the control panel.

no need to uninstall IE7. Install firefox and it will ask you if you want it to be your default browser. Don't use IE anymore. I have done this and have had much better results with Firefox.
