How can I get rid of these viruses without the backup Windows Recovery Console?

October 1st, 2008 · 1 Comment

Hi, I have two viruses on my computer that I’m having a difficult time finding a way to get rid of:

Infostealer.Banker.C
and
Infostealer.Ldpinch.H

While both are low risk, I naturally want them gone. But I don’t have the Recover Console CDs (OS is Windows XP) at the moment, which are needed in practically all of the methods that I’ve been searching for to try and delete them.

Is there anyway to remove the viruses without having to use the CDs?

get some Antivirus software. I prefer Norton (which costs money), but there are other free programs out there. Just do a google search for Antivirus software
