do i have to update the version at the same time . if so how can i down load the free updates of AVG free , from where can I down load the free updates. how can i install the updates. can anybody guide me through this.
thanks for the answers . but the problem with me is that i am not using my PC to connect to the internet . i have to download the version and copy it to the USB pen drive and install to my PC. so I can't do anything online. what can i do for this.
ok. i already downloded the free version to my USB. what i am asking is do I need to update the version at the same time I install the version

site is avg.com, download the free version of it on your pc, then register yourself on their site, they will send the code on your email and put this code when asked by the installation

Get the latest version of AVG from the site http://www.avg.com and after it is installed, just keep the AUTOMATIC UPDATES ON, it will automatically update itself whenever you are connected to the internet.

you can have a free installation of AVG in any websites, just search it and there will show you many sites of anti-virus.

you can still download it onto your usb stick and copy it accross.
it will not get updates though…
and unless you are exposing this pc to some risk, there's not much point…
