Do what I do call Dell support when they pick up act like your REALLY REALLY PISSED and ask for their supervisor and get direct full clean information.

I take it the dell has a DVI connector on it you can get a dvi to VGA adapter to make it work
if hats not the case it should work OK

I don’t care for Vista and if I bought a vista computer, i would put xp home edition on it asap. XP is faster, and more compatible with most softwares and hardware. Besides, Vista is a memory beast. You can put that extra memory to good use with XP and gain a substancial performance gain.
