my norton anti virus is not up to date so when the free scanner scans my pc it detects a safestrip spyware and it tells me that free scanner cant remove this spyware,, i need help removing this quick!!…what should i do??…any help would be appreciated ; )

To manually remove SafeStrip, follow these removal steps:
Find SafeStrip Directory Path
Find SafeStrip’s directory path before you remove SafeStrip.
Go to Start > Search > All Files or Folders.
On All or part of the the file name section, type in “SafeStrip” file name(s).
Use directory path for the other manual removal steps.
SafeStrip directory path listed below.
%ProgramFiles%\SafeStrip
Stop SafeStrip Processes
To open Task Manager, use CTRL+ALT+DEL or CTRL+SHIFT+ESC.
Go to Image Name to find “SafeStrip” processes by name.
Find and stop the “SafeStrip” processes listed below.
SafeStripUpdate.exe
safestrip_setup[1].exe
SafeStripReminder.exe
SafeStrip.exe
Delete SafeStrip Registry Values
Go to Start > Run > type regedit and then press OK.
To search for SafeStrip, press Ctrl + F and type SafeStrip to
locate the key that has the value you want to delete.
To delete “SafeStrip” value, right-click on it and select Delete.
