A good free antivirus program is AVG Anti-virus.

As for getting rid of the program you can try downloading a program called ccleaner and use its uninstall function to delete it. Other than that I don't know what to tell you.

There are ways to manually delete viruses, malware, and spyware, but its easier to download up to date software.
These programs should help you out, I regularly use them.
Ad-Aware 2008 Personal: http://filehippo.com/download_ad-aware/
Spybot Search & Destroy: http://filehippo.com/download_spybot_search_destroy/
AVG Free: http://filehippo.com/download_avg_antivirus/
All those programs are free. Also if you are still using Internet explorer, I wouldn't recommend using it any longer. Firefox 3.0 just came out, free, and a whole lot more secure than any other browser:

The best way to prevent getting viruses like that is to scan everything you download with an antivirus software, I use AVG Free which is linked above ^

AVG!!!
Download the free 30 day trial version. That gives you complete protection. Then just keep redownloading after 30 days ends.

Get the anti malware program SuperAntiSpyware and run it to remove your malware program…… then get BOClean and install it. You won't have to run it as it is on all the time monitoring the system and does a 1 sec check every 15 to 20 secs…. you'll only know because you see the icon in the system tray blink, it's that fast…… and the 3rd and final program you need to prevent those rogue garbage malware programs in the first place is SpywareBlaster……… Youj can get all 3 of them for free at http://www.filehippo.com or go to http://www.majorgeeks.com
with those 3 programs on your system you will be safe from all malware and spyware…… and in the future, if you want to try a program out and don't know anything about it, do a Google or yahoo search on it so you can be aware of whether it is a good and legit program or if it is one of the BS programs like the one you got that is causing you problems…
Good Luck……. and safe computing in the future……
