How can i Repack my data? with Encryption?

How can i Repack my data? with Encryption,, so when you try to change the Exrension of the file it will become unusable,but cant be Reopen with the same program?

i got to the part where i made the file type and if you try to change it it will become useless but what i need help with is that i can still open it with the same program , is there a way so they , the same program CANT Open the file? ;.;/sob

i have no idea where the replid button but trueencrypt is for the Hardive , want i want to do is just like a simplie folder with files in it.

like i'm using gryff_s to make a whole diff type buti can still open the file with gf viewer but you would have to manuly put the name of my file to open it

      Just changing the file extension won’t prevent Windows from opening many types of files. It can tell what the file, either from previous association or examining the contents. If you want to encrypt your files you should use the free program TrueCrypt. http://www.truecrypt.org/
