I downloaded a free 60 day trial of M/S Office from the M/S site which has now expired. I have since bought a disc and I cannot upload it onto my computer because it says I need to uninstall this free trial first, however when I go to Add/Remove Programs and click "remove" it just will not take it off. I have been on the phone with M/S …no results. My computer is a Dell Inspiron 1100 and have been on the phone with Dell …no results.
Can someone please help???

I have tried all the suggestions. The only one that worked was manually finding and deleting the M/S Office folder. I still cannot upload my Office disc. The error is "unable to find a volume with enough disc space for file extraction". This occurs at the very end of the extraction process, then will not install the software
I am desperate …PLEASE HELP!!

This is an easy one. What its telling you is that your hard disk is nearly full. Thats why the cd cannot fully extract i.e the error at very end…Try first moving or deleting some of your info and then try the extraction again.. In the add/remove make sure you scroll the whole list and look for anything related to the office2007. Normally there should be about 2 or 3 programs you need to uninstall with the office2007 trial. Theres also one office 2007 activation wizard if im not mistaken. Remove that as well.

First, you need to be convinced that you have enough disk space. You need 2Gb free minimum for installing office.
There are bugs in the 2007 trial version which have not been fixed.
If you have already manually removed the installation folders, then also remove registry entries corresponding to the office trial version. Once all the actual files and the registry entries have been removed, you should be able to install the full version ms office.
If you have not deleted the files, I would recommend that you do a system restore to an earlier time, before you installed the trial version office. (this may not be possible since you seem to be (nearly) out of space).
