i have windows xp and i dont like the beat version so i want to go back to explorer 7 but idk how to uninstall beta 2 i went to add or remove programs but i didnt see internet explorer 8 beta 2 so how do i do it?

I have Beta 1.
I don’t know if it is the same with Beta 2 (I’d assume it is), but Beta 1 could not be uninstalled. I’d recommend just using the Emulate IE7 option on it, unless Beta 2 removed that.

restart your computer and go back add/remove and see if there now.

If it’s in your start menu, try right-clicking it, see if there’s an uninstall there.
If not, use EXPLORE to navigate to the folder it’s in. There should be a clearly named uninstall .exe file there.

go to add and remove programs
IE8 is not a program its an update
NOTE: go to the box on top and click the see or check updates and internet explorer 8 beta 2 will show up
i had this same problem IE8 sucks

My Face Book wouldn’t work with Explore 8 Beta 2. Don’t know why MS has to make everything so difficult. I also reverted back to Explorer 7.
It was there in my Control Panel, double check maybe with the up dates. Check the “Show Updates” box in the top right corner.
→ Control Panel
→ Add/Remove Programs
→ Clicked on Explorer 8 & then remove.
Try Google Chrome is a very simple easy to use Browser.
