When i enter my email address and password into Hotmail Messenger everything is fine. But when I click Sign In, my password stars change from 9 to about 30 of them and it says, cannot sign you in because the password was incorrect. why does it always change on me? I have not been able to get into messenger for about 3 years now. I haven’t been using it. but because i have more time on my hands and i met some old friends i decided to try and fix it.
Actually it works when i download it and install it, but as soon as i turn off my computer or EVEN log out of my PCs account, when i log back in , it starts again
it might be a firewall problem but im not sure i dont think so. im okay to check my email properly.
my anti-virus program is Windows Live OneCare..

you need to download the hotmail messenger sign-in assistant. i to had that problem and so have lots of my friends. finally we all reported it and they just came out with that add-on .. so to be safe then sorry. i would reccomend uninstalling the msn messenger you have on your puter right now. then re downloading it and it will automatically install the assistant add-on with it. good luck!!
