It’s not very clear and you’re not the only who find this baffling. The reason why it’s grayed out because after the scan Kaspersky automatically disinfected or deleted the malware. You don’t need to do anything at all. What you see in ‘Detected’ is a backup copy of the malware so that you can restore or treat it later when an opportunity arises. All you doing is deleting the backup copy from ‘Detection’.

Go to ‘Help’ then go to the ‘Index’ tab and then scroll down to ‘Scan: action on deleted object’ and hit ‘Display’ and you will see this

‘When disinfecting or deleting an object, the application creates a backup copy in case the object needs to be restored, or an opportunity arises later to treat it.’

‘If you are working in the automatic mode, the application will automatically apply the action recommended by Kaspersky Lab’s experts when a dangerous object is detected. For malware objects this action is Disinfect. Delete if disinfection is not possible, for suspicious objects - Skip.’
