I downloaded an Adobe update and after that, for some weird reason, my Firefox and Internet Explorer displays all the characters in Chinese or Hebrew and I can't seem to find the English option anywhere in the tools menu. Please help!

In Firefox go to Tools/Options/click on the last tab (advanced) click the first sub tab and click the button in the bottom right and make sure English/United States is highlighted,in use, and at the top of your list

go to tools/internet option/ on general tab down the bottom click language check it out. if that doesn't work uninstalled the software and preinstalled again restart the computer
check the language options as above or
send technical support email or make a phone call about your product (adobe software)
