This spyware was causing my computer to restart about 1 minute after starting up. I booted in safe-mode removed the spyware using the MaleWareBytes software however now that I have accessed the internet again my restart symptoms have returned. When browsing for the short period of time I always get redirected to one of 5 or 6 spyware pages. What else can I do?

Look up “windows xp virus” on “GOOGLE”. There are many solutions to try, even software to remove the virus.
Good Luck

I found a removal process that gets rid of all of the files for XP antivirus 2008 including the registry entries that cause the popups. http://www.pchubs.com/blogs/xp-antivirus-2008-removal-process-remove-xpantivirus2008 is the process i found. It should work for you and it is free.
