Ok, I’ve seriously tried my best, the game I’m having the problem with is baldur’s gate 2. I recently attempted to install some player made mods and accidentally replaced a lot of the main override files with fan made ones of the same name instead of renaming them, because of that a lot of the main items have been permanently replaced. I couldn’t figure out how to undo that so I simply tried uninstalling and reinstalling, only to find out that not only were the files not fixed, but the ones that i’ve replaced them with were still there along with my saved game files. I thought something went wrong with the uninstall so I redid it only to find that the problem was still not fixed. I then went further and completely deleted all the mod files i had downloaded and then deleted the BG 2 folder that was installed, after that i reinstalled only to find the problem was still there. I then went even further and downloaded Revo Uninstaller which is supposed to uninstall the program with the built in uninstaller then delve deeper and find all the files associated with the game and delete those. When I thought that would finally do it I reinstalled only to find that the problem was STILL there. I’m completely lost now and my real main issue is that I think since I messed around with alot of the files my internet play for the game continues to crash me to desktop when i attempt to log in. I’m not really sure if its because of Vista that my uninstall just won’t completely remove everything or what, but i’m really fed up with it and i just can’t get my original override files back nor will my internet play stop crashing on log in when it wouldn’t before. Can anyone help?

In Run type System Restore and click it. Restore your computer back to the date that it ran correctly.
