How do I delete custom toolbars (i.e. toolbars I've created, NOT Google/Yahoo toolbars) in Firefox?

June 26th, 2008 · 2 Comments

I create a toolbar using right-click > customise > Add Toolbar, but can't figure out how to remove it. Aware that this is a COMPLETELY dense question from someone who works in IT *looks sheepish* but sometimes it's the simple ones that fox ya!

I think if you remove all the icons on the tool bar, in the 'customise' window, then the bar itself should disappear.

well you can right click on the menu (where file and help and all those tabs are) and disable it from view…. but the toolbar will still be there…

in right click -> customize you can click restore defaults which will remove ur custom ones….

      check http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Customizing+Firefox#adding_removing_toolbars?style_mode=inproduct for more info
