How do i enable protection for kaspersky 8.0.0.506?

Due to some problem in my system i re-installed kaspersky 8.0.0.506 in my system.
When i want to run it, it says it cannot enable protection.
No matter how many times i click enable protection it does'nt work.

Please help me out with this,
i have reinstalled it thrice but still the same problem occurs.

I searched in google and yahoo answers too but could'nt get sufficient information for 8.0.0.506.

I have heard that we have to run a script.
But i don't know wats a script and how it runs.

Please let me know if i have to download anything or install another software for this problem
