So this virus originated from my user profile or whatever on xp. The comp was extremely slow and infected pretty good until we used some antivirus software and cleaned the computer. Now the virus is only affecting my profile and not the rest of the users in my family. Would deleting my profile take care of it, or can it still do damage to everyone else or what? We have three different antivirus programs to use. How do I completely get rid of it?
Norton
Spybot
Spyware Doctor
The links to bleepingcomputer and malwarebytes don't work. The virus could be blocking them?

It would help to know what antivirus programs you have. If you have all 3 running, they will prevent each other from actually cleaning the system, assuming that any of the three are actually capable of doing so.
I’d suggest starting with spybot search and destroy from http://www.safer-networking.org
Also, run cleanup! from http://stevengould.org to delete temporary internet files.
Get NOD32 from http://www.eset.com (You can get a 30 day free trail) and run it after you’re done with spybot.

You need to get rid of those 3 antiviruses. Then a good antivirus I would suggest is Avira Antivir Free(if you like free stuff)
http://www.avira.com/en/downloads/
You may only have one antivirus and one firewall
My favorite paid version is kaspersky or nod32
http://www.kaspersky.com/
http://www.eset.com/
My favorite program in getting rid of antivirus xp 2008 is Malwarebytes
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
If that doesn't work then use this on safe mode
Follow the instructions

If you have more than one antivirus they will conflict.

antivirus xp 2008 is a malware. you probably opened some spam email or something and it infected your computer. if you have antispyware, just run a scan and it will be gone. if you don’t use antispyware, you can delete this thing manually, here’s a tutorial:
