Stupidly my father has no anti virus protection on the computer. Somehow we got spyware and it has probably been on for awhile, but something was clicked to give it total power. Now on my computer says on the desktop WARNING SPYWARE DOWNLOAD SPYWARE REMOVAL and weird things that are obviously spyware and not actual protection. On that computer we cant go on the internet or click anything. My dad is getting help today but is there anyways to get around it or do something to prevent some harm…i dont know what to do

Try to install some safe anti spyware/virus protection. Usually your computer should come with some standard spyware protection such as Spybot search and destroy, or Ad-Aware SE. These would eliminate. Other wise, just wait for your father to receive the help.
Hope I helped.

Try restarting your computer into Safe Mode. When the pc is starting up keep on hitting the F8 key until you have an option to boot into safe mode.
Download a program called smitfraudfix.

If you are able to get this installed it may get rid of the main virus /spyware. If the computer will let you install smitfraudfix then download a few more programs like SuperAntiSpyware, Spyware Doctor and Ad-Aware. If you run all those programs it will get rid of all the spyware and viruses.
Now if the computer wont let you install any programs in safe mode you are probably going to have to reformat your comptuer unfortanately.

Get free version of * Superantispyware *. Finds viruses and spyware that are very very hard to find with no conflict to other antivirus software. Do a search for this.
USB Flash drive!
Just plug it in a different computer usb slot… put what you want on it… then plug into your new pc… and transfer. presto!!!
You can get them at most stores that have pc's cameras etc.
Cost… $8 to about $59 - 512mb, 1g, 2g, 4g, 8g.
Note: Practically all Spyware and Hijackers etc. tend to target 'Internet Explorer' and not other browsers. If you don't mind switching your browser, then you should switch and immediately greatly reduce your risk of infecting your computer. I would recommend Mozilla Firefox.
