how do i get rid of spyware on my computer?

i have a dell inspirion laptop…i download lots of things =/ i have spysweeper but its like expired and i need the activation code again but i dont know it..

so i use ad-aware..a warning spyware detected on my computer is on my desktop and idk how to get rid of it..

and my computer sometimes goes to a blue screen that says i have spyware and i need to protect my comp blah blah

anyway ad aware clearly isnt doing a good job bc i did a full scan 15 mins ago and it said it was clean

what are some free programs i can use to get rid of spyware?

      ubuntu ,fedora , mandriva are easily to use

      Try “Spybot - Search & Destroy” its quite efficient and I’ve been using it for the past 3 or so years…

      It also includes a resident (works in the background) program “Tea Timer” which monitors the Registry for changes and asks the user’s permission before allowing them - thus you can check what is going on when you run some programs which drop ‘bombs’ into the registry/change settings etc.

      Highly recommended… :-)

      Spyware Detector

      Any one, two or three of those should work wonders.

      You should use an antivirus program and antispyware software, because your computer is now infected with viruses and/or spyware.
