okay, so i've had limewire for like a year and it's been working great and everything, except now all of the sudden i have a firewall and can't get it to work. i made an exception for limewire under the windows firewall settings and it still won't go away! help please?!!! =]

go to control panel and then go to the section that says firewall…turn it off and problem solved!

Nope, I am having the same problems - worked fine and now firewalled. No reason other than updated Limewire to latest version.
Worked fine with the Router firewall, anti-virus firewall and Windows firewall.
Now firewalled and won’t connect.
Switched them ALL off and still firewalled!
