How do i get rid of this pop-up? symantec service framework has stopped working?

November 28th, 2008 · 4 Comments

Every time i log on to my laptop i keep getting the pop-up “symantec service framework has stopped working - a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available”. I haven’t been notified of a solution and was wondering how do i stop this from happening ever again.?

Maybe you should go to Nortons web site & find out why you have NO anti-virus..! This is kinda important…

Re-instal the Symantec program to try and resolve or find an alternative program and clear the old one off the PC via add or remove programs in control panel….if its Norton …..whipp it off and install AVG Free edition it free and its better

I think you should remove and then reinstall symantec. If problem persist try another antivirus.
