I don't know how to get to the place I need to be in my McAfee Security Center so that I can uncheck the Intrusion Prevention. I was told earlier to do this and it might fix my problem of not being able to connect to the internet.

Bring up the McAfee Anti Virus screen and go theough the diffrent options pages…you should be able to find Intrusion Prevention…just turn it off..should be listed under internet settings..
